Potato Corner: No Longer Just a Stall in the Corner

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. I was so excited when I found out that Potato Corner will have its first concept store in Glorietta 4. The store opened on November 27, but unfortunately, I was not able to drop by since I have a lot of errands to do at home.

My friend trying their interactive menu for the first time. I guess this is the newest trend in the food industry.

But when my friends and I decided to buy gifts for our Christmas party, we were amazed at how the store looked like. It was very different from the usual Potato Corner stands that we see. But what surprised us the most is that this concept store offers 25 flavors!!

Here are the flavors offered:

  • Cotton candy
  • Curry
  • Honey butter
  • Spicy cheese
  • Maple bacon
  • Kimchi
  • Butter and garlic
  • Blue cheese
  • Sweet and sour
  • Ketchup and mayo
  • Cinnamon
  • Cookies and cream
  • Paprika
  • Chocolate
  • Chili Lime
  • Seafood
  • White cheddar
  • Cheese
  • Barbecue
  • Sour cream
  • Chili barbecue
  • Sweet corn
  • Wasabi
  • Ranch o’ cheddar
So many choices, so little time!

That is not the only new feature of Potato Corner as it has a self-ordering kiosk. This touch screen machine allowed me to pick my fries, flavor, and other special orders. I also have the option to set the cuts of the taters from jojos, waffle-cut, loopy, or shoestring.

Definitely a must-try!!! Good thing the store was not as jam-packed as it was on it’s opening day/

Afterward, the machine released a stub. I waited for the cashier to call my number and paid for my order. While waiting for my fries, I had the chance to check the augmented reality game screen by the exit.

It was such a fun experience, and I would certainly go back again to try all the new flavors.
